Just over 100 years ago the United States got involved in World War One and built up a rather large amount of domestic bases.
This blog will document all of the known stateside bases on an ongoing basis.

Circa 1913.
Fort Ethan Allen started off as a cavalry post in 1894. It was use through WWII and was closed in 1944. Today there is a nationally designated historic district.
