Arizona

Douglas:
Camp Harry Jones
These would be the boundaries according to narrative on another website. This area is just to the left of Douglas Airport.

Established in 1911. Camp Harry Jones shows up as "Camp Arthur J. Jones" on some maps, but that doesn't appear to be the correct name of the camp. The camp was used for the Punitive Expedition to go after Poncho Villa's forces. When WWI rolled around, a bigger priority was keeping Germans out rather than Mexicans. It was expected that Germany would attempt to send spies and saboteurs into America. The camp closed in the early 30s due to The Depression.

Fort Apache:

Established in 1870. This fort occupied 7,579 acres. Today a historical district exists.

Whipple Barracks or General Hospital No. 20.

Originally established in 1869. Used as a hospital during WWI. It consisted of 1,731 acres.
Built at a cost of $1,610,000 (1919 value)  2019 dollars: $23,894,712.
Today there is a historic district.

Sierra Vista:

Fort Huachuca
Circa 1913.

Established in March 1877. Occupied 44,760 acres during WWI. It is still an active army installation today.
