Camp Meade

Camp Meade was one of 16 national army cantonments. It eventually renamed Fort Meade in 1929. It saw activity during WWII. The post became as large as 18,000+ acres. But after the Cold War ended, the acreage was shrunk to around 5,000. Fort Meade is still an active base.

This was an engineering camp located within the confines of Camp Meade.
