Arkansas (updated 11/10/18)

Little Rock:
Camp Pike

Camp Pike was one of 16 National Army cantonments. In 1937, it was renamed Camp Joseph T. Robinson after the former Arkansas governor and senator. The base saw action during WWII, and is still active as an Arkansas National Guard base.

Little Rock Aviation Depot

LRAD was just a storage depot and didn't include a flying field. It didn't see any WWII reuse.

Ft. Logan Roots
Fort Logan Roots was not sufficient to train large numbers of troops. Therefore, Camp Pike was constructed to the north of town. It was founded in the 1830s as a local arsenal. After the war, it was transferred to the Public Health Service, which was the forerunner of the Veteran's Administration. Today the place has been preserved as a National Historic District.

Hot Springs:
Army and Navy General Hospital

Lonoke:
Eberts Field
Eberts Field was closed after WWI. It also had one auxiliary field somewhere. Eberts reportedly saw some use as a contract glider school during WWII. Today, it is just a fish farm, and there is no aviation activity today.
